Marabou Muddler Yellow - Turrall - MU09
Muddler Minnows are the orginal surface lure. They work on stillwaters and reservoirs fished fast on a floating line, creating a disturbance in the surface layer which often results in agressive takes and big bow waves. On rivers they can be fished slightly slower so as to create a skating v shaped disturbance, this style of fishing will catch not only trout but salmon ( particularly Grilse) and Sea Trout. The muddler minnows are excellent night surface patterns for Sea Trout and very good as top dropper flies for lough salmon fishing.
