Bloodworm Variation - Turrall Nymphs - NY44
Bloodworms are effective all season long. Red is particularly deadly at the start of the resevoir season fished slowly on a floating line and a long leader, or as the point fly on a team of nymphs. The solid zip takes lead to excellent sport. Bloodworm nymphs are also effective carp flies. The variation bloodworm is an interesting take on the pattern with the rubber legs suggesting the red outline and movement of bloodworms making the fly even more appealling to bloodworm feeding trout and carp.
