Minkies, with their flowing pulsating wings, are deadly at fry time during the late summer/autumn. Twitched, fished slowly or stripped back on all lines, near weed beds and in the margins, they are deadly for fry feeding trout. Orange is godd change colour to prevoke an agressive attack and well worth a try on a sinking or intermediate line during the summer on daphina feeding trout.
