Booby minkies are deadly at fry time during the late summer/autumn. They can be stripped back across the surface, creating a disturbance, and then get ready for a big bow wave and thumping take. Slowly twitching them near weed beds and in the margins also brings good results. Fished on sunk lines they are also very effective with a slightly different action to the non-booby zonkers and minkies.
