Blobs, whatever your opinions on them, are essential modern patterns for reservoir/stillwater trout fishing. Their attraction to trout is undeniable, often the trout take the blob but they are also excellent at drawing trout in to take other flies. Fished on all lines with varying retrieves these patterns are deadly. The Tequila Sunrise blob has taken the stillwater competition scene by storm combining the two most deadly blob colours. It is deadly particularly for daphina feeding trout but will induce trout to have a follow and possibly take at most times. Love it or hate it a must have for everyone's fly box
