Red Kicking Damsel - Turrall - KD03
The kicking damsel has added erratic movement created by the forward facing rubber legs and this coupled with it's eyes and flowing tail make it very attractive to trout. It can be fished as a nymph or a lure and will take fish on varied line densities and retrieves. Damsel fly nymphs are a staple part of trout's diet throughout the seasons making damsel nymph flies a must have in your fly box. Carp also feed on damsel nymphs throughout the year. The red kicking damsel is very effective at the beginning of the season on stillwater and reservoirs when it's damsel outline is complimented by it's red flowing marabou wing which also suggests bloodworm to roving trout.
