Epoxy buzzers are widely used and highly effective. They imitate buzzer pupae perfectly and the tinsel cheeks mimic the wing shucks and add an extra aiming point that trout just cannot resist. The epoxy finish makes them heavier and the flex material gives them a subtle segmentation profile. Buzzers work on reservoirs, loughs, stillwaters, and slow stretches of rivers. These buzzers can be fished individually or as part of a team on all lines. They are best with slow retrieves or near static fished straight line, as part of a washing line set up, or under a bung.
